The Chatham-Kent Film Group is set to show its first screening in two years this afternoon at Galaxy Cinemas.
The first film of the season is I’m Your Man, a 2021 German science fiction romance film.
There will be two showings at 4 and 7pm. Admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door.
The next film screening will be held on Monday, October 3rd. The C-K Film Group will screen a new film on the first Monday of every month.
There’s a blood donor clinic tomorrow at the Chatham-Kent YMCA from 1-7pm.

Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin began its final journey on Sunday.
The Queen’s oak coffin made a six-hour journey from Balmoral to Edinburgh, Scotland, and will lie at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official residence of the British monarch in the Scottish capital.
The coffin is scheduled to arrive in London tomorrow. The state funeral for the Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey, on September 19th.
On Saturday, King Charles III was officially proclaimed as the new monarch.
The North American International Auto Show begins in Detroit this weekend.
The show is at Huntington Place, formerly known as Cobo Hall. For the first time, not only will the show cover the 1,000,000 square feet indoors, but there will be outdoor activations, ride and drives in the area.
At least 30 brands will be on display. The future of mobility will also be on display with air mobility vehicles, like hover boards and an amphibious plane; never before seen at the Detroit show.
Traditionally held in January, it was announced the show would move to the current September dates in 2020, the pandemic pushed that back. This will be the first show since January 2019.
The auto show is open to the public on September 17-25th.
