Elon Musk has broken a Guinness World Record. He actually shattered it.

Elon has now holds the world record for the largest loss of personal fortune in history; His losses are up to US$124 billion more than the previous record.

Since November 2021, he has lost around US$182 billion. Some are even calculating his losses closer to US$200 billion.

That surpasses by far the previous record set by Japanese tech investor Masayoshi Son — who, in 2000, lost US$58.6 billion. Musk’s net worth, largely affected by poor performance of Tesla’s stock, plummeted from US$320 billion in 2021 to US$138 billion as of January 2023.

But don’t worry, Elon isn’t eating baked beans out of a can over the sink, he remains the world’s second-richest person.

BMW unveiled a concept car last week that changes colour based on the moods of the owner.

BMW showed off a “colour-changing” concept vehicle at the Consumer Electronics Show last year but that only changed into various shades of gray. This year, the i Vision Dee changes through a full palette of colours with different parts of the car body showing different colours all at once. Even the wheels change colour.

A second i Vision Dee concept was built to show off new ideas for the “user interface,” which is how drivers and passengers interact with the vehicle. Even the outside, the front of the car, the area around the headlights and the “grille”, can exhibit different shapes and hues, creating something like facial expressions. The car can show different moods or reactions, such as approval, happiness or astonishment.

In the concept car, images can be projected, but onto the side windows, as well. For instance, the driver can select a digital avatar that can be projected onto the side window as part of a greeting display as the driver approaches the vehicle.
