There’s a blood donor clinic at the Portuguese Canadian Club from 1-7pm this afternoon.
Donors are desperately needed. There are over 17.5 million eligible donors in Canada, but less than 2% donate.
Book your appointment at Blood.ca, call 1-888-2-DONATE or use the apps. No walk-in appointments are available.
If you’re unable to donate this week, the next clinic locally will also be at the Portuguese Canadian Club May 30th.
The Special Events Tunnel Bus is back!

The first Special Events bus will run for this Friday’s Tigers game.
A $70 million winning Lotto Max ticket will expire in about a month if it goes unclaimed.
The OLG says the $70 million winning ticket was purchased at a retailer in Scarborough.
They’re urging anyone that may have purchased a LOTTO MAX ticket in Scarborough to check clothing pockets and personal accessories, including handbags, backpacks, wallets and computer bags.
Kraft says the top complaint they get is people struggling to open the clear wrapper of the Kraft Singles.
So they’re re-designing them to add texture on the flap, so that your fingers can feel where the opening is. They’re also making the wrappers thicker and sturdier, so they can be opened without tearing.
The new wrappers will be out later this year, along with a new exterior packaging, with a bolder font, and an emphasis on the fact that they’re “made with real dairy.”
