Today all Ontario Parks are open across the province for free.
The annual celebration ties in to the global Healthy Parks Healthy People initiative, which promotes the physical and mental benefits of nature.
You’ll get to explore, hike, swim, or take advantage of other opportunities within the park.
You can get your complimentary pass at the gate at the park of choice. Your pass will be valid until 10pm on Fridday. The pass does not include the use of other paid facilities, such as overnight camping and equipment rentals.
The Dresden Night Market returns this weekend.
On Saturday, you can visit downtown Dresden and experience shopping, food, music, entertainment and a pop-up bar.
The night market runs from 4 pm-11pm.
The second annual Rally at the Barn is happening over the next few days.
The pickleball weekend is hosted by TJ and Amber Brodie in support of the Lifehouse Foundation, which raises awareness for cystic fibrosis and MS.
The Rally at The Barn runs Friday through Sunday at the Ken Houston Memorial Arena in Dresden.
This weekend is meant to introduce new players to the game of pickleball with various clinics on Friday then the weekend is for pickleball players of all skill levels that want to celebrate by playing in a tournament that will have youth, men, women & mixed divisions.

A couple more days left to check out thousands of sunflowers in Chatham-Kent.
The Whitney Family is inviting people to Puddleford Tree Farm so people can take pictures, enjoy and even take home some of the 20,000 sunflowers that were planted all in support of the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent.
The cost is $5 per vehicle and $1 per flower.
This is the third year the Whitney Family has held the fundraiser.
The farm is located on Scane Road in Kent Bridge.
If you receive the Canada Child Benefit, you should notice an increase starting with this month’s payment.
According to the federal government, this year it’s seeing a 6.3-per cent increase. The increase is being done to help fight rising inflation costs.
The CCB is recalculated every July based on the net family income for the previous year.
