On Saturday night Elon Musk announced that he was changing the name of Twitter to X.
Once this happens, a Tweet will be called an X, and followers will be called viewers.
Elon bought the social media platform for $44 billion last year.
Musk’s rocket company, Space Exploration Technologies Corp., is known as SpaceX. And in 1999, Musk founded a startup called X.com, now known as PayPal. He also has a son whose name is just a bunch of nonsensical letters and symbols, but they call him “X”.
