The Blenheim Rotary Club hosts Summer Concerts in the Park.

Every Thursday from 7-8:30 bring a lawn chair and enjoy some music at Talbot Trail Place.

This week it’s Retrospect Band on the stage.

The Dresden Rotary Club Summer Concert Series continues tonight.

Come out for some free music at Dresden Rotary Park all summer, and it’s free!

Tonight Jeremy Smith take the stage at 7. Sidestreets will host a BBQ beginning at 6.


Couple of movies today at the Chatham Capitol Theatre.

The Summer Family Movie this afternoon is Missing Link.

Tonight at 7pm stop by to see Blackberry.

Major League Baseball released it’s 2024 Spring Training schedules this week, so now you can get planning your vacations for February and March.

2024 Spring Training will officially begin on Thursday, February 22nd. The regular season will begin with all 30 teams playing on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The Blue Jays train in Dunedin, Florida; The Tigers spring home is in Lakeland, Florida.


The Heat Warning continues today for Chatham-Kent and most of Southwestern Ontario.

Environment Canada has issued the warning on Tuesday.

Temperatures witht the humidex will reach the upper 30’s today. Tomorrow wil be extremely hot with humidex values reaching 40 for many areas. Cooler temperatures are expected Saturday.


It’s so hot! <How hot is it?!>

It’s so hot that when you jump into the ocean to cool off, you burn yourself!

The water temperature on the tip of Florida has hit hot tub levels, exceeding 100F degrees (37.8 degrees Celsius) two days in a row.

Records for sea water temperature are unofficial, but the reading on a buoy at Manatee Bay hit 101.1F degrees (38.4 Celsius) Monday evening, and on Sunday night the same buoy showed an online reading of 100.2F (37.9 Celsius) degrees. In other words, it’s hovering at a temperature equivalent of the average hot tub.
