Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement calling for up to 50mm (1.96 inches) of rain today.

A large storm system is heading towards the region bringing with it heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Chatham-Kent, Essex and Lambton County should be pretty wet until this evening.

Back to sunshine and 27 Wednesday, but Environment Canada is monitoring another system for Thursday late afternoon with a potential for strong thunderstorms.

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Rodion Amirov has died, his agent announced Monday. He was 21.

Amirov was drafted by Toronto in 2020 was diagnosed with a brain tumour two years ago.

The Maple Leafs organization had been helping Amirov cover the costs of his medical treatments in Germany and Russia throughout the duration of his illness.


Busch Light is hosting the fastest wedding ever at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Busch Light Pit Stop Wedding will happen on October 15th during a NASCAR playoff race. The ceremony will take place in under 15 seconds during the Kevin Harvick’s pit stop. The Busch Guy will serve as the ordained minister while Busch will pay for the trackside reception.

“Why? Because the faster the ceremony, the sooner you can crack open a cold, smooth Busch Light.”
