The Rainfall Warning put in place yesterday and in place overnight by Environment Canada has been lifted.
With all the rain, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch. The authority has reported pooling and localized flooding in some low-lying areas, and some watercourses have already approached bank-full status. The flood watch is in effect through Friday.
For today, we have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon and very humid. High today is 28, the humidex will make it feel like 38.
Weather permitting, the Blenheim Rotary Club will host Summer Concerts in the Park.
Every Thursday from 7-8:30 bring a lawn chair and enjoy some music at Talbot Trail Place.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed centre Auston Matthews to a contract extension.
The contract will be worth $13.25 million per season, making Matthews the highest-paid player in the NHL. Matthews will play out the final year of his previous contract, worth $11.6 million per season before the new deal kicks in in 2024-25.

Call it fake news, call it what you want…despite telling you yesterday that Starbucks was bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Latte this weekend, it’s actually back TODAY!
This ties the record for the earliest it’s debuted. It also returned on August 24th two years ago. It’s the 20th anniversary for the PSL. When they first started selling it in 2003, it debuted on October 10th. But the latest it’s come back in the past decade was on September 8th in 2015.
