The Super Blue Moon will shine bright tonight.

A super blue moon is a combination of a supermoon and a blue moon.

Supermoons occur when the moon is full and located at or near its closest point to Earth. These moons appear especially large and bright because they are slightly closer to Earth than normal full moons.

A blue moon is the term used to describe the second full moon in a month. The moon’s cycle is 29 and a half days, so every two-to-three years there is a blue moon where there’s a full moon at the very beginning and end of a single month. The next Blue Moon will happen in May 2026.

The spectacle should reach its peak around 9:30p.m.

There won’t be another Super Blue Moon until 2037.

Boston, New York City’s tri-state area and Minneapolis-St. Paul were the U.S. sites selected as homes for the yet-to-be-named teams.

The Canadian franchises will be based in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

Teams will play a 24-game schedule, with the playoff expected to run into June.

Indigo is opening a new store concept in Toronto this fall.

The store will have a coffee truck with pastries, snacks, beer and wine available.

The new store will still be centred around a selection of Indigo Canada’s curated assortment of books but with a new elevated focus on lifestyle products and in-store experiences.

Plans for the urban concept location include unique offerings like a vinyl record shop featuring a jukebox and a curated selection of books along with a plant shop that has live plants, pots and books.
