Two parades this weekend in C-K.
The Blenheim Santa Claus Parade will be Friday evening at 7pm. Following the parade, Santa will help turn on the Christmas spirit at Talbot Trail Place.
The Festival of Lights was initially to take place in 2020, but the pandemic hit. Finally, the switch will be flipped this weekend.
The Wheatley Santa Claus Parade will be Saturday at 6:30p.m.

The Chatham Goodfellows’ annual Porchlight Campaign is next Monday.
Hundreds of volunteers will go door to door, seeking donations to ensure their slogan stays true, “No Child Without a Christmas.”

The CKSY Christmas Doesn’t Have to Stink drive through drop off is Wednesday. Stop by CKSY (117 Keil Dr., Chatham) and drop off deodorant, soap, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, etc to support the Goodfellows.
Chris and Allanah are volunteering their time this morning at Walmart to watch a Salvation Army Kettle.
The goal this year is $500,000 and that will stay local and support local initiatives.

Today is Cyber Monday. The biggest online shopping day of the year.
Its creation was no accident. According to research and analysis, there were noticeable increases in online spending on the Monday after the U.S. Thanksgiving, on November 28, 2005, a press release said: “Cyber Monday Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year.”
Online sales have gone up every year since.
Retail analysts say that’s the best day to buy a computer.
