The Chatham-Kent Public Library hosts Movies @ Your Library every Tuesday at the Chatham branch.

Book your spot today to see Motherless Brooklyn starring Edward Norton and Alec Baldwin.
Movies start at 2pm.


One last Santa Claus Parade in Chatham-Kent.

Everyone is invited to Thamesville this weekend to see Santa. The parade is Friday at 7p.m.


In November, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent had residents nominate and then vote on names for six of the city’s snow plows. After more than 30 submissions in the running, the winners of the plows were announced Monday.

The six names include:

  • Skip the Ditches
  • Plow Patrol
  • Austin Plowers
  • Taylor Drift
  • Snowtorius B.I.G.
  • The Big LePlowski

WINMAR sponsors the contest and covers the cost of the new plow nameplates.


Toy packing continues with the Chatham Goodfellows tonight at the former Monsignor Uyen school, 255 Lark St., Chatham.

Volunteer are welcome between 6-8p.m.

Volunteers are still needed for Street Sales this Friday and Saturday. Go here to volunteer.

Money raised supports The Goodfellows 69th annual No Child Goes Without a Christmas campaign.


The Canadian Forces Snowbirds have released their tentative schedule for the 2024 season. This will be the 54th year of Snowbird shows across Canada.

The season opens in May in B.C. The traditional fly by the nations capitol on July 1st is on the calendar.

So far, the closes to C-K they’ll fly this year will be in London, September 13-15th.
