Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has been named the cover athlete for the MLB The Show 24 video game.

Vladdy following in the footsteps of his father who was on the cover of MLB 2006.

In the past there have been different athletes on the cover for Canada and the U.S.A., there is just one cover athlete this year. The new version of the game is scheduled to launch on March 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox X/S and Xbox One consoles.


The New York Times acquired Wordle two years ago today.

Software engineer Josh Wardle created the word game as a personal project for his partner. He created a prototype in 2013, but it was not until the pandemic in 2020 that he revisited the idea and refined the game.

Wardle was reportedly paid a figure in the range of the low seven figures for Wordle, which means at least $1 million. At the time of the sale, Wardle said, “I’d be lying if I said this hasn’t been a little overwhelming.”


An animal shelter in New Jersey is offering a unique service for Valentine’s Day this year.

For a $50 donation, they’ll name a feral cat after your ex, then neuter it.

They’ll also spay female cats. But the real appeal is getting to name a cat after a guy you hate.

The flyer they posted online says, “Neuter Your Ex for Valentine’s Day” . . . “because some things shouldn’t breed.”
