Tonight is Trivia Night at Sons of Kent in support of Rise House International.

Cost is $20 per person at the door. Trivia begins at 7pm with some awesome prizes to be won.


Tomorrow is Good Friday.

A couple of holiday notices:

  • Collection services will only be affected by Good Friday (March 29). Those residents who would normally receive curbside collection on Friday, March 29 will receive it on Saturday, March 30. There are no collection changes for next week.
  • Municipal offices, including service counters, will be closed for the Easter holidays on Friday, March 29th and Monday, April 1st.
  • All arenas will be closed on Friday.
  • Gable Rees Rotary Pool and Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool closed for Good Friday, March 31st and April 1st for Easter Sunday and Monday. Regular programming on Saturday.
  • The LCBO and The Beer Store are closed Friday.
  • Costco is closed on Good Friday in Ontario.

The Detroit Tigers are in Chicago to play the White Sox at 4:10

The Jays play the Tampa Bay Rays at 4:10 on Sportsnet.

The Tigers first game in Detroit is April 5th against Oakland at Comerica Park.

The Jays first game in Toronto will be April 8th against Seattle.


Tegan and Sara are at the Chatham Capitol Theatre tonight.

The sisters are fresh off being given the 2024 Humanitarian Award at the Juno Awards in Halifax on Sunday night.

One of the world’s most popular living visual artists is coming to London. Ontario.

Banksy’s work is coming to a studio in downtown London opening April 18th. It will include more than 100 of the artist’s works including over 25 certified originals, prints, photos, lithographs, sculptures, murals, and video mapping installations created exclusively for the tour.

The Art of Banksy: Without Limits exhibit has toured through Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Asia and the United States. London will be the first stop in Canada.

Banksy is a pseudonym used by an unidentified English artist whose spray painted street installations use satire to make provocative political statements.
