The Toronto Blue Jays revealed their City Connect jerseys Thursday.

The Blue Jays’ new jersey features shades of red and blue, colours that have traditionally been included in the organization’s logos. As well, it also incorporates black, which is important to the team’s history.

MLB and Nike launched the City Connect line of alternate uniforms in 2021 with a select number of teams getting the City Connect treatment in each year since. The Tigers revealed their jerseys earlier in the month. Each uniform is designed to honour its respective city’s culture and community.

The Blue Jays will debut these jerseys tonight when they open their series against the Pirates at Rogers Centre at 7 p.m.

Keeping with the theme, you’ll only see them at night games on:

  • June 3, 5, 17, 19, 28
  • July 3, 19, 24
  • August 8, 21, 23
  • September 13, 23, 25
