RM’s Cars & Coffee is back this Saturday.

Come out 8–11am, rain or shine, with coffee & donuts will be on hand for the first 250 guests.

The event is a chance for enthusiasts to get to know the RM Auto Restoration team and get a glimpse inside the shop that helped dub Chatham-Kent ‘Canada’s Classic Car Capital’.

Cruise on in to RM Classic Cars (One Classic Car Drive, Blenheim, Ontario) for a morning of all things automotive. There is one more Cars & Coffee event this summer on Saturday, September 14th.

There’s a barbecue in Dresden today for job seekers at ConAgra.

ConAgra staff will be on hand between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to take job applications. The food is free.

ConAgra is located at 639 North St. in Dresden.

Canning began in Dresden back in 1903.


Chatham-Kent breweries are teaming up once again to present BrewFestCK this Summer. The first stop is tomorrow at Sons of Kent.

Each local brewery will host an event with new beer releases, food, entertainment, vendor markets and more all summer.

MoonFest is tomorrow at Sons of Kent. Bayside Brewing hosts EauFest August 10th. Red Barn Brewing Company‘s FarmFest is August 31st and Wallaceburg’s Glasstown Brewing Company closes the season with RiverFest on September 14th.

Entry fee is $10 and that includes drink ticket and the proceeds go directly to the charity of choice for each brewery.


Four games in three days for the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers this weekend.

The Barnstormers are on the road to play Branford tonight, before hosting the Hamilton Cardinals Saturday for a double header. First game is at 4:05 p.m. and the second will start right after. One ticket gets you in for both games. The Welland Jackfish are in town on Sunday at 1:35 p.m.

The Canadian Men’s Soccer Team will take on Uruguay the third place game tomorrow in the COPA America tournament.

Columbia will face Argentina on Sunday for the gold.

Both games are on TSN. Third place Saturday at 7:45 p.m., the final on Sunday at 2:45 p.m.

This was the Canadians first ever appearance in the tournament, they are ranked 48th in the world.
