A warm start to the week according to Environment Canada.

Sun and cloud today with a 30% chance of showers. The humidity will make it feel like it’s 33C. Same thing for Tuesday.

Wednesday calling for warm temperatures again, but rain.


The Dresden Night Market returns this weekend.

On Saturday, you can visit downtown Dresden and experience shopping, food, music, entertainment and a pop-up bar.

The night market runs from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.

It is 100% volunteer organized and supports small businesses, artists, entertainers, and community groups.


United States President Joe Biden will not be running for re-election.

The president announced his decision in an open letter shared to social media Sunday. In a separate post, Biden endorsed U.S. vice president Kamala Harris for Democratic presidential nominee. The Democratic National Convention will be held mid August in Chicago. The Democrats plan to announce the party’s nominee before the convention.

He’s the first sitting president to drop out since Lyndon Johnson in 1968.

The U.S. general election takes place November 5th.


The LCBO will reopen tomorrow after a tentative agreement was been reached between the Liquor Control Board of Ontario and its unionized employees.

Since the strike began on July 5, more than 660 LCBO stores have been closed.


The 2025 Major League Baseball schedule was released late last week, and now you can start planning your road trips.

Opening Day will be on Thursday, March 27, and the regular season will end on Sunday, September 28. The Toronto Blue Jays open the season at home vs the Baltimore Orioles. The Detroit Tigers will start in L.A. against the Dodgers.

The Jays host the Tigers May 16 to 17, Toronto is in Detroit July 24 to 27.
