The event is to find a donor match for 16-year-old Ethan Hunter who has a rare form of cancer, and time is running short.
Today’s Get Swabbed event will run from noon – 4 p.m. Registrants must be between the ages of 17-35 years old, it takes very little time to register and get swabbed.

The Detroit Tigers open the best-of-three American League Wild Card Series against the Houston Astros this afternoon.
On August 10th the Tigers had a .2% chance of making the playoffs, then they got hot, clinching a spot in the MLB Playoffs on Friday.
All three games of the series will be played in Houston beginning at 2:30 p.m. today, Wednesday and Thursday (if needed)
The Tigers will host a watch party at Comerica Park for today’s game. Tickets cost just $5 for adults over 14. Kids 14 and under will get in for free if accompanied by an adult.
The WNBA semifinals continue tonight. Chatham’s Bridget Carleton and the Minnesota Lynx will play the Connecticut Sun in Game 2.
In Game 1 on Sunday Connecticut beat Minnesota 73-70. The Sun lead the best of 5 series, 1-0. Carleton had 17 points in a losing cause. Tip off is at 9:30 on TSN.
Game 3 is on Friday night.
The U.S. Vice Presidential candidates will take to the stage for their only debate tonight.
The two vice presidential nominees, Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota and Republican Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, both agreed to participate in the debate hosted by CBS tonight at 9 p.m.
Election Day is November 5th.
