The Boston Celtics are the defending champions, and are favoured to repeat.

The NBA season tips off with the New York Knicks facing the Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves playing the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Toronto Raptors open at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 7:30. The game is on Sportsnet. The Pistons host the Indiana Pacers at Little Caesars Arena.


Today may be the end of summertime temperatures.

The auction opens this morning to bid on tickets to see Taylor Swift at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Bidding opens this morning at 8 a.m. for a pair of tickets to see Taylor November 16th. The tickets are in the TD Summit Suite and include access to exclusive in-suite bathroom and bar. All proceeds from the auction will go towards the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
