The Tilbury and surrounding area will go dark on Sunday.
Entegrus says the outage is scheduled to last from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 2,300 customers will be affected. Everything from homes to businesses to traffic lights will be without power.
Hydro One will be making upgrades to the lines that feed the Tilbury station.

Another accolade for Chatham’s Bill Atkinson.
The Ontario Baseball Association announced their 2024 Hall of Fame class this week. Atkinson is one of 5 inductees this year. He spent four seasons in the majors.
He pitched pro ball from 1972-83 and returned to Chatham to pitch senior ball until 1999. He was inducted into Chatham Sports Hall of Fame in 1999 and coached local teams.
The inductees will be honoured in November at Baseball Ontario’s Annual General Meeting.
Game 1 of the American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers in Cleveland to play the Guardians is tomorrow.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:08 p.m. on Sportsnet. Game 2 is Monday at 4 p.m.
