Day 5 of the Winter Olympics in Italy saw Canada win a medal in the short-track speedskating mixed team relay.
Felix Roussel, Courtney Sarault, Kim Boutin and William Dandjinou finish 2nd in the mixed team relay bringing home Canada’s first Silver.
The Canadian Women’s Hockey team played rival U.S.A. and didn’t look good, getting shut out 5-0. They’ll play Finland on Thursday.
At the end of Day 5, Norway led with 12 total medals, six of them gold. Canada now has four medals in Italy, one Silver and three Bronze.

Sunday is the Daytona 500.
Known as the Great American Race, the 500-mile race kicks off NASCAR’s season and has been held every February since 1959.
It’s a 200-lap race where 40 drivers will compete for bragging rights and more than $1.6 million in prize money. The race is set to start at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

This weekend will be the first (of four) free fishing periods in Ontario this year.
This means you do not need to buy a fishing license if you want to fish during:
Family Fishing Weekend (February 15-17)
Mother’s Day Weekend (May 9-10)
Father’s Day Weekend (June 20-21)
Family Fishing Week (June 27-July 5)
During all other time periods, Canadian residents between the ages of 18 and 64 years must purchase a valid fishing license to legally fish in Ontario.
