Today marks 2 years since the January 6th insurrection at the US Capitol.
It was the day that Congress was meeting to formally count the electoral votes affirming that Trump lost the election.
On Thursday, a wrongful death lawsuit was filed against former President Donald Trump and two men involved in assaulting a Capitol Hill officer.
The civil suit blames Trump for telling lies about the election in the lead-up to Jan. 6, and accuses him of inciting the crowd to violence. The suit seeks $10 million from each party.
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is awake and communicating . . . but only on paper. He can’t speak yet, because he’s still on a ventilator. But Wednesday night, he actually asked doctors who won Monday night’s game.
And the doctors told him, quote, “You won the game of life.”
The NFL announced yesterday that the Bills and Bengals will NOT replay the game.
Guinness announced that a bird broke a world record by flying 8,435 miles non-stop from Alaska to Australia. It’s a type of bird called a “bar-tailed godwit” that had a tracker on. It flew 11 straight days without stopping to eat or rest.
