The Chatham-Kent Film Group will screen Hear Me Out at Chatham Galaxy Cinemas this afternoon.

Showings at 4 and 7pm. Admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door.

The C-K Film Group screens independant films the first Monday of the month at Chatham Galaxy Cinemas.

The next film screening will be held on Monday, March 6th.

The Florida Panthers hosted the NHL All Star Game over the weekend in Sunrise, Florida.

On Saturday the NHL announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs would host the 2024 NHL All-Star Game at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

The Maple Leafs hosted the first ever official NHL All-Star Game in 1947, pitting the defending Stanley Cup champion against a selection of All-Stars from the other five teams.

It will be the first time since 2000 that the Leafs have hosted the event. The city last hosted an All-Star event in 2016, when the Toronto Raptors were home to the NBA All-Star Game. The Toronto Blue Jays also hosted the MLB ALl-Star Game at SkyDome in 1991.


The Guinness World Records has a new entry for the world’s oldest living dog: A Portuguese dog named Bobi.

Bobi is actually the oldest canine ever recorded at 30 years and 226 days old, as of February 1st. Bobi was born on May 11, 1992, making him a millennial. He has lived his entire life with the same family.

Bobi is a purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, known as a livestock guardian dog. The breed typically lives about 12 to 14 years.

The previous oldest living dog, Bluey, died in 1939, having held the record after living 29 years and five months.
