The Chatham Goodfellows begin packing toys tonight at 463 St. Clair Street (the former Fabricland building next to Dimitar’s) Toy packing will take place tonight through Thursday from 6 til 8.
Just stop by if you’d like to help out. Volunteers are needed to deliver on Monday, December 17th, after 5:30pm.

The lighting of the Christmas Wish Tree will happen tonight at the Chatham Campus of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The ceremony begins at 6:30 just outside the emergency room entrance, donations will be accepted on site. With a contribution to the Christmas Wish Tree, you can help purchase two vital pieces of equipment.

The first meeting of the new Chatham-Kent Council is tonight.
Meeting begins at 6 in the council chambers at the Civic Centre. Council meetings are always open to the public, or available online here.
NASA released the first audio ever recorded on Mars last Friday.
Two sensors on their InSight lander picked up the sound of vibrations caused by a 10 to 15-mile-per-hour wind. An air pressure sensor also recorded audio.

Well it’s only December 10th and your 2019 New Year’s resolution is already out the window.
News just leaked out that McDonald’s is going to add bacon cheese fries to their menu.
They started testing them last month in Hawaii and Northern California, and apparently the tests went so well that they’re fast tracking them to the menu sometime, “early next year.”
