Keil Drive South will be closed to through traffic between Richmond Street and Riverview Drive beginning this morning at 7 until Friday for work on the railway tracks.

The recommended detour for local traffic is Riverview Drive – Bloomfield Road – Richmond Street.


On Saturday, the DOLRA (Dog-Off-Leash-Recreation-Areas) Committee will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the John Waddell dog park (Water Street, Chatham) from 10-2.

There will be vendors, trainers, groomers, photographers, and much more. Then there will be a dog swim at Orville Wright Pool on King Street East from 1:30 to 4:00. All are welcome!

The Walt Disney Company says it will launch its Disney Plus streaming service in Canada on November 12th, taking on Netflix.

Canadians will pay $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year to access Disney shows and movies from its various brands including Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.


The jewelry company Tiffany just announced they’re launching their first full line of jewelry for men. They’ve sold some men’s stuff in the past, like cufflinks and money clips, but this full line has more than 100 items.

And it’s not just jewelry like rings and watches. It includes stuff like a silver compass, beer mugs, and dog tags.

The jewelry will range from about $200 to $15,000, but some of the fanciest items will sell for up to $75,000. It should hit Tiffany stores in October.


A RM Sotheby’s auction for a Porsche that was expected to sell for over $20 million dissolved into chaos after the Dutch auctioneer’s accent confused bidders.

The 1930’s car was expected to be the most expensive car with the Porsche name ever sold at auction.

The bidding went as high as $17 million, ended with the car remaining unsold when it didn’t meet the seller’s minimum price.
