Make it 12 consecutive days of new new COVID19 cases in Chatham-Kent. The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit is still reporting just the 2 active cases and no one is in hospital.

Ontario reported 409 cases across the province, 279 in Toronto, Ottawa and Peel combined. 63% of the new cases are in people under the age of 40.

The Jays are in.

The Toronto Blue Jays secured a playoff position with a win over the New York Yankees last night. It’s the first postseason appearance since 2016.

As it stands right now, the Jays will play the Tampa Bay Rays beginning on Tuesday.


 General Mills just announced they’re permanently bringing back the, “’80s taste” of four of their major brands: Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Golden Grahams, and Cookie Crisp.

Trix will come in its classic fruit shapes, Cocoa Puffs and Cookie Crisp will have a stronger chocolate flavour and Golden Grahams will be made with actual honey.

One other big reason they’re doing this: Millennials are nostalgic for the cereals they grew up eating, but it’s a real letdown when the cereals don’t taste as good as we remember.

All four of the “retro recipes” are hitting stores now.


NASA is sending new toilets to the International Space Station because their old ones stink.

Spaceship engineers describe the smell, “If you want to recreate that used spacecraft smell, take a couple dirty diapers, some microwave food wrappers, a used airsickness bag, & a few sweaty towels, put them in an old school metal trash can and let it bake in the summer sun for 10 days. Then open the kid & breathe deep.
