Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services are again warning everyone about safety on the ice.
With the changing weather conditions, slippery and unstable banks and extremely cold-water temperatures can lead to dangerous conditions close to any body of water.
A good reminder with rain and highs of 8 this weekend.
No ice is considered 100% safe. Ice thickness is NOT consistent, especially with changing weather conditions.

The city’s bid must still be approved by an IOC vote.
Hasbro just announced they’re making the Mr. Potato Head brand gender-neutral.
What does that mean? Right now, all of the various Potato Head toys fall under the “Mr. Potato Head” brand name and logo.
Hasbro is changing that to just “Potato Head,” but they’ll still sell separate versions of Mr. Potato Head and Mrs. Potato Head.
This news set off a social media frenzy, Hasbro had to clarify the changes in a tweet…
Hold that Tot – your main spud, MR. POTATO HEAD isn’t going anywhere! While it was announced today that the POTATO HEAD brand name & logo are dropping the ‘MR.’ I yam proud to confirm that MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD aren’t going anywhere and will remain MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD pic.twitter.com/6I84KrxOLQ
