The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is waiving fares for any rider using public transit for travel to or from COVID-19 vaccine appointments and walk-in clinics. This policy comes into effect immediately and will run until August 30, 2021.

Riders should inform the driver that they will be attending a vaccination appointment when boarding.

Students in Ontario will be going back to class in September!

But they will see the return of masks, cohorting, and social distancing. However, music, sports, school assemblies, and other school activities will also return. The Ontario government released its much-anticipated health, safety, and operational guidance for schools on Tuesday.

Elementary students should expect to return to class five days a week. While distancing is being encouraged, the document does not stipulate maximum class sizes.

Secondary students will only have two classes at a time. However, school boards have been given the option to implement a modified semester approach with an alternating class schedule offering only two classes per week.

What is said to be the world’s steepest roller coaster is going to open next year at Six Flags Fiesta in Texas. The Dr. Diabolical Cliffhanger coaster will feature a “cliffhanger” moment which will suspend riders over a 95-degree drop, before plummeting them down a 150-foot drop.
