Chatham-Kent Public Health‘s first mobile Catch Up Clinics is tonight in Blenheim from 2:30-7.
If your student needs to catch up with their routine school immunizations, Blenheim District High School will host the first mobile clinic tonight. Next week the clinic travels to Wallaceburg and Tilbury. Go here for the full clinic schedule.

The Chatham Maroons will open the GOJHL Western Conference Finals tonight in Leamington.

Eminem, Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, Eurythmics, Duran Duran and Pat Benatar have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Dolly initially resisted the honour. She had gone on social media to “respectfully bow out” of the process, saying she did not want to take votes away from the remaining nominees and had not “earned that right.” The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation responded by saying ballots had already been sent and it was up to the voters to decide if Parton was elected. The voters have spoken.
The induction ceremony will be held November 5th in Los Angeles.

Also known as the Anniversary of the Battle of Puebla, a military victory in 1862 over the French forces of Napoleon III. It isn’t a Mexican holiday at all, but rather an American one created by Latinos in California during the Civil War.
Today is also Dutch Heritage Day in Canada. This is just the 4th year it’ll be celebrated after the federal government adopted a motion from then Chatham-Kent-Leamington MP Dave Van Kesteren in April 2019.
It is meant to honour the sacrifices made by Canadian veterans who gave their lives fighting for the Liberation of Holland, which took place on May 5, 1945.
