Moore’s Clothing as filed for bankruptcy because of the coronavirus.

Tailored Brands, operator of Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank and Moores Clothing for Men says it is working with creditors to continue operations but will reduce store count. There are currently 120 Moores locations.

Sales are lagging because people are now teleworking due to the pandemic


A handful of Cineplex Theatres reopened on the weekend.

Each individual screen was allowed 50 people. That number is up, when it was announced that only 50 people per entire theatre would be allowed inside.

Theatres will be offering tickets for $5 as a “welcome back” gesture to audiences, showing new releases and summer favourites like Beauty and the Beast, Jaws, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Invisible Man, Bloodshot, Sonic The Hedgehog, My Spy, Jurassic Park, Gravity and Jumanji: The Next Level.

Chatham Galaxy Cinemas hasn’t reopened yet.


National Mustard Day was on Saturday.

To celebrate the Oskar Blues Brewery in Coloradio teamed up with French’s Mustard for a mustard beer.

They describe the beer as being a semi-tart wheat beer infused with citrus and French’s Classic Yellow Mustard. The brewers note that the flavors of key lime, lemon, tangerine, and passion fruit complement the spice and zip added by the mustard, and creates a brightly-colored and refreshing brew.

Last year French’s teamed up with an ice cream makers to create a mustard-flavored ice cream.
