5 Things You Need To Know

July 21st is the 202nd day of 2021. There are 163 days remaining until the end of the year.


No new positive COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday by Chatham-Kent Public Health.

There were no recoveries, the total active case count stays at 5.

There were 127 positive cases and only two deaths across Ontario Tuesday. That’s two straight days with under 150 cases. The province has reported fewer than 200 cases for 12 days in a row.


Concentrix is hosting a hiring event today.

It’s Tim Horton’s Camp Day.

Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners will be celebrating Camp Day where 100% of coffee proceeds are donated back to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

The THFC helps local youth (ages of 12-16) by teaching them leadership skills & empowering them to change their stories.

There are other ways to help the cause’ donate include $2 for a Camp Day Bracelet or round up your order with the balance going to send a kid to camp.


The Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Championship last night, beating the Phoenix Suns 105 to 98.

This is their second title, but their first in 50 years. They won their first in 1971.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was the difference maker last night, with 50 points, 14 rebounds, and five blocks. He’s only the seventh player to have at least 50 points in a championship game. Not surprisingly, he was the MVP of the series.


LEGO has created a prototype brick made from recycled plastic that lives up to their standards.

It uses plastic from bottles, and it was not easy. They spent three years testing variations of recycled materials to find the perfect process.

It will be some time before bricks made from a recycled material appear in stores. The next phase of testing is expected to take at least a year
