The four major party leaders will debate for the second and final time tonight.

This is the first primetime debate, the leaders faced off in a daytime debate May 4th. The broadcast debate is set to run from 6:30-8pm on CBC and CTV.

Participants include: Doug Ford, Andrea Horwath, Steven Del Duca and Mike Schreiner.

The debate is open to all major party leaders running candidates in all Ontario ridings that currently have an elected MPP sitting in the provincial legislature.

Ontario goes to the polls on June 2nd, advance polls open Thursday.


The Chatham Maroons are GOJHL Western Conference champs!

Chatham beat Leamington on Saturday afternoon 5-2 to take the home the trophy.

The Maroons now move on to the Sutherland Cup Playoffs against the Midwestern Champion Cambridge Redhawks and the Golden Horseshoe Champion St. Catherines Falcons. Chatham will play each team on the road, and at home.

The top two teams from the round robin will advance to a best-of-3 series to decide the Sutherland Cup champion.

Chatham will host the Falcons at Memorial Arena on Tuesday at 7pm. The rest of the schedule will be released today.


The Maple Leafs are out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The back to back defending Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning won Game 7 on Saturday 2-1 to eliminate Toronto. The Leafs have now lost its last seven series, including six straight dating back to 2017.

The other Canadian teams won their game 7’s: Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames – they’ll play each other in the second round.


The Summer-like weather we’ve experienced for the last week is going to be swept aside for more seasonable conditions this week.

According to Environment Canada we’ll have rain to start today, with sun, cloud and more rain throughout. Today’s high is 19. Sun and cloud for the week, highs dipping to 16 on Wednesday before climbing back up to 30 on Saturday.
