The Chatham-Kent Film Group will screen Riceboy Sleeps Monday at the Capitol Theatre.
Showings at 4 and 7pm. Admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door.
The C-K Film Group screens independant films the first Monday of the month. The next film screening will be held on Monday, July 3rd.
CAA released their Worst Roads list for 2023.
Barton Street East in Hamilton is the “winner” again as the worst road in Ontario. Barton Street East has been crowned the worst road in the province for the second consecutive year, followed by Eglinton Street West in Toronto, and County Road 49 in Prince Edward County.
This is the 20th anniversary of the campaign, which asks Ontario residents to vote on the roads in the province that are in most need of repair.
The worst roads in our region, the South West Region:

- Tecumseh Road East, Windsor
The worst roads overall in Ontario:

The Festival of Giving is this Saturday at Sons of Kent.
This years Festival supports Chatham-Kent Youth Wellness Hub Ontario – YWHO, (formerly known as ACCESS Open Minds) is a walk-in, one-stop shop for youth, ages 12-25 to connect with mental health supports, substance use care, primary care, housing, and other community and social services.
If you would like to show your support, the FoG Online Auction opens at noon today at FestivalofGiving.ca. The auction supports YWHO and is open to everyone.
Auction is live until June 7 at noon.
